    Testimonials

    • I know what it is like to be outside, cold, and with nowhere to go. Alleviating this pain (and often, shame) should be a major concern for our communities. Having a safe, dry place to go when I was homeless could have made immense positive impacts on my teenage years. Instead, I worried about where I would sleep at night and how I would clean the few clothes I had.  With an alternative to living on the streets, others could … find… jobs, their own houses, a normal life.”… C. • I spent a portion of my childhood homeless. Lucky enough to be attending school at this time, I had access to food and education. A scholarship to college gave me the opportunity to rise up out of my situation.
